Reward Wallets
Learn how to add or generate reward wallets.
Adding a rewards wallet
To add a rewards wallet, go to the “Wallets” tab on your community dashboard and click the “Add new rewards wallet” button to get started.
Empty reward wallets tab
When adding a rewards wallet for a selected chain, you can choose to either generate a totally fresh wallet or use your own. In both cases you have full access to the wallet’s private key.
The private key of your rewards wallet is accessible only by the community owner - and if your community is shared in a team, by team owner and admins.
After creating a rewards wallet you will be redirected to its overview panel:
Polygon rewards wallet with some tokens
You can switch between the tabs to view your rewards wallet balance, activity, and lookup its private key.
Topping up your rewards wallet
To top up your wallet with tokens, simply send them to it like you would to a regular wallet.
Only tokens listed on the supported tokens list and NFTs that aren’t marked as spam will be visible in your rewards wallet.
Always keep some gas token in your rewards wallet so rewards can be distributed seamlessly.
Alternative reward distribution
If you expect to reward a lot of people and the chain you are operating on doesn’t have the cheapest fees, you can leverage the bank system to reverse the reward distribution flow, thus making the process cheaper.
