Overview

The Reaction Event activity allows users to create images and vote on their favorites! The highest voted image wins.

Creating a new event

To create a new event, use the /gen-menu command, click the 🎮 button and choose the “Reaction Event” option.

You won’t be able to create an event if you’re missing the required permissions. Check out setup to learn more.

In the Reaction Event menu, you’ll be able to create a new event from scratch or from one of your templates (if you have any), or manage existing events.

To create a new one, click the “build one from scratch” button to get started.

Configure the necessary event settings and launch your event, or store the configuration as a template for quick setup of future reaction events.

Now people in your server can generate images using the /gen command and submit them for the event.

Checking the leaderboard

To check the event leaderboard, use the /gen-menu command, click the 🏆 button and select your reaction event.

Managing event submissions

To manage event submissions, use the /gen-menu command, click the 🎮 button and choose the “Reaction Event” option.

In the menu that pops up, click the “manage events” button and select your reaction event.

Here, you can view the leaderboard, view all of the submissions, and disqualify some of them if you think they break the rules of your event.

If the event has ended, you can pick winners and announce them in the event channel.

Reaction events aren’t integrated with the blockchain in any way. If you want to reward the winners, you must do so manually by tipping the winners.
