How do collab gating rules work?

Collab gating rules allow you to grant roles to users in your server based on their roles in other Discord servers. They’re perfect if you want to collaborate with a project and give their community extra perks in your own server.

Adding collab gating rules

To add your first collab gating rule, go to the Gating tab in your community dashboard, switch to the Rules tab, click the Create new rule button, and choose Collab Gating Rule to start.

When creating a collab rule, you’ll be asked to enter ID of the Discord server you want to collaborate with (this server needs to have Flipsuite installed), and choose a role from that server that will be required to get the role.

After configuring and adding collab gating rules, the Rules tab should now be populated with the gating rules you’ve created.
